Amikor a Voda átvette a hálózatot, akkor azonnal jelszintet növelt. Addig 4-5dB bejövőből lett 16-08 dB, ami sok lett minden eszköznek. Ilyenkor a kimenőszint elnyomja a bejövőt, ami jelentős zajt generál, ezért lassul le a net. Csökkenteni kell a bejövő szintet helyileg egy csillapító tag (izolátor) segítségével, kb. a 4-5dB-s bejövő szintig. Erre a célra van potis folyamatosan szabályozható és van fix, 6-10-20dB-t csillapító tag is, amit a kábelvég és a készülékek közé kell becsavarással beiktatni.

Mintha eltűntek volna a magas kiugrások. :) Minél jobban terhelt a hálózat annál több zaj generálódik. Erre pedig a Vodafone TV box érzékeny mivel ping kigrások jönnek létre.

Na én is beraktam egy izolátort... Csoda történt? A Vodafone TV szervere tőlem 90km-re van légvonalban (bár nem mintha a légvonal számítana valamit):

Nálam volt korábban hiba a Voda TV boxal! Esténként megállt az élő HD! Olyankor a net is belassult. Ezt javították távolról. Utána felhívott a technikus, hogy az izolátort be tudom magamnak kötni? Ha igen akkor az osztó mögé a modem koaxra rakjam be. Ezzel megszüntetem az esetleges zajt ami a terhelés miatt van most a hálózaton. Nos! Azóta a Voda box gyors lett! Így sem volt gondon vele de most a leggyorsabb. Azaz a box rendkívül érzékeny a netre mivel a menü és az EPG is rengeteg apró infót tölt be valós időben. A Vodafone TV szervere tőlem 1,8km-re van légvonalban:

Hol írják 3.1-esnek? Igen, ezek szerintem is csak Telekom területen vannak. Gondolom, ha a Vodafone lecseréli valamikor a Connect Boxot, akkor már egy DOCSIS 3.1-es eszközt fog adni helyette.

Nem kevertem semmit össze. Azért még létezik, mert nem tudsz róla... De az lehet, hogy csak a Telekom területen elérhető, ahogy a Vodafone TV is indult.. Szerintem te keversz valamit. Ami Sagemcom gyártmány, az a Vodafone új TV-boxa, szóval az nem egy modem. (A Connect Box pedig Compal gyártmányú eszköz, és igazából az sem csak egy modem, hanem egy Home Gateway, azaz egy modem + router egybeépített kombója. Ennek leváltásáról még semmilyen hírrel nem találkoztam eddig.)

Lesz a Vodanal új modem a Connectbox helyett?A szerelő aki végül is kicserélte a Connectboxot, mert ezeket a tüskéket a Voda ügyfélszolgálat is be tudta mérni, azt mondta nem tud róla. állítólag most ebben az új Connectboxban új hardvercsip van, amit nem nagyon vennék készpénznek. Most jelenleg meg van osztva 2.4Ghz-re és 5Ghz-re ezt is a szerelő srác ajánlotta. elmondása szerint viszont még áprilisban visszatér a VodafoneTV box is DVB-C továbbításra. Ez engem is érdekelne...Nálam nem ennyire rossz a helyzet, de nálam is mindennaposak a kisebb laggolások. Pont tegnap kezdtem el gondolkodni rajta, hogy kizárásos alapon a Compal lesz a ludas. Esetleg használ valaki már Sagemcomot? Úgy látom, az lesz az új modem.

Optikai kapcsolathoz képest csapnivalóan szar értékek... Most DIGI-s optikám van, előtte T-s volt. Ott 1-3 ms belföldön akárhova. De 30 ms felett belföldön már elég gáz! Nem lehet, hogy a csoda Compal HGW (Connect box) Intel Puma chipset-je miatt vannak ezek a lag spike-ok? Jó lenne ha valaki a jó öreg Cisco-val is meg tudná nézni! Azok ugyan kb. 200 mbps-et tudtak, viszont atomstabilak voltak. A pingeléshez és a traceroute-hoz kapcsolódva, sok core hálózati eszközben tiltva van vagy nagyon alacsony prioritásra van állítva a ping kérések és tracert kérések megválaszolása. Pont azért, hogy ne lehessen megfektetni ezeket az eszközöket milliónyi pingflood-al. Egyszerűen a hálózat és a hálózati eszközök védelmének érdekében. Tehát ne vegyétek készpénznek az itt ott megugró ping tüskéket, nem feltétlen attól van, hogy agyon terhelt a hálózat, hanem nincs prioritásban a válasz.... Csak a VodafoneTV hibára tudsz "panaszkodni", esetleg említsed meg, hogy észrevételed szerint a net "lassú" amikor problémád van. Én még megnézném a tracert-vel, hogy mi a következő router IP címe, pl. így: tracert 52.84.109.10 Neked elméletileg a 2. sorban lévő IP cím kell. Azt is pingeljed meg, így kiderül hogy hol van a hiba. Nálad vagy csak a Vodafone szerverénél útközben valahol ;)

Nem éppen ideális, látszódik hogy rendszeres időszakonként megnövekszik az elérési idő. NE a boxot cseréljék, a netet hozzák helyre ;) "a netet pedig a box akkor zabálja, amikor épp be van kapcsolva és használat alatt van, csakhogy érthető legyek." Ez normális, pl. ha HD adást nézel az óránként kb. 2,5GB forgalom!
