I agree, Süti is not mézeslábú, it is clear to see. Neither is Civil.
Cafka is different case, she has very large tan areas, but nobody has ever claimed she wasn't odd color.
If cifra dog was mézeslábú, the markings will be clearly visible, without doubt.

Kecskefogo Civil has been eye examined, and found healthy. Civil has now cleared all the health checks - HD, ED, Patella and Eyes and everything is perfect. Just like rest of him. Thank you for the breeder

So you are in firm belief that tempperament issues are not that common in mudis that it is impossible same owner would have to put down two dogs based on same cause and the breed is therefore not suitable for her? Would you say the same to someone who had bad enough luck to get for example two epileptic mudis? Or two mudis who had hip dysplacy? That the breed isn't right?
There are tempperament problems in the breed, not least because there are people who think that bad behaviour (shyness, aggression, bad nerves) are always caused by environment and not genetics, and as long as dog can be kept in a kennel in a farm without meeting people or needing to "do" anything that requires human contact, it doesn't really matter how the tempperament is. I think that is terrible shame.

I don't know if you had visited the Norwegian website, but the advertisement to find a new, more suitable home for Amaz had been there for some time, I can't remember how long. I think I read about it in the blog, too. I never asked why Amaz was looking for new home, but I noticed that she was. I know Inga, so the reasons to think about placing the dog to new home must've been solid. I know she's quite capable of handing dogs and has experience of training and living with them, so I do think that problems that they may have had could not be caused only by Inga not being capable of solving behavioural problems.
I know it is kind of taboo to say that some dogs cannot be saved or "healed". Some dogs have such background to their problems that it cannot be fixed.
I do agree that probably there always is "something" more owner could do, but how many of us know what all Inga had already tried? It is hard to also say when enough is enough. I believe Inga will probably be able to give little bit more background information of the problems they had after she has gone over the sorrow of making the hard decicion to put down a dog she loved.
There impression that has been given is that Inga just all the sudden decided to take physically healthy dog to be put down. It would be right to be upset and angry if that was the case, but to what I know, it was not like that. I believe the final decicion was made quick, true, but it doesn't mean that Inga hadn't already been seriously thinking about all the possible options this dog had.

Maybe it would be better if I didn't put my nose into this, but since this discussion have been going on for few days already, not only in netboard but also in FaceBook, I think also I can share my 2 cents.
I must admit, I do not know much about Amaz, or the situation. I do know Inga, though, for many years already and I do believe the even if desicion was made fast, it was not made lightly.
It is nasty to implicate she would've just wanted to "get rid off" Amaz because she wasn't completely "happy" with her. Dogs may have faults that make them not good breeding dogs or hobby dogs or what ever may have been the dreams the owner had, but it doesn't mean that owner wouldn't love them despite the faults.
I believe the reason why Inga made her desicion was not because Amaz bit, but that even if she could've prevented more bitings to happen, it would've not made the life of the dog any easier. If she was that nervous with peole, that reserved that she felt she needs to go to extreme limits and bite, the life must've been very stressfull. In this case, I think Inga's desicion was right, as there would've been no hope that Amaz would've ever fitted in the urban life. If I'm not mistaken, Inga had been trying to find another home for Amaz for quite some time, unsuccessfully. The bite was just the last drop.
I do not like the way the matter has been discussed, as there's so much said that seems to be said just to hurt feelings, not to discuss the matter or even want to understand the reasons.

can you clear up just to make sure I got this right: the MMK club recommend not breed epilepsy carriers
and carriers are:
- epileptic dogs
- epileptic dog's parents
- epileptic dogs full siblings
- epileptic dogs puppies
and possible carriers are:
grandparents of epileptic dogs
half siblings of epileptic dog
other dogs who might be related, the closer the relation to epileptic dog, the more likely dog is carrier?
Or did I understand something wrong?

Thank you for posting the sad news here too Zsófi, Pipõ had many friends on this forum.
She was killed by a caucasian owcharka. Owcharkas are kept as "pets" by people who should not have any kind of dogs, and become even more popular after a Finnish childrens movie where an Owcharka was starring. The owcharka (and his owner) were breaking the law because it was free and not supervised, the police has been involved and I hope justice will be done.
Pipõ would've been 12 in May, and had no sign of old age. She was taken away much too soon. She will always have a special place in our hearts. She was my father's favourite, my mother's favourite, my son's favourite of all our mudis and we're all heart broken. It has been a tragic day. Just yesterday we were celebrating the 5th birthday of Maci-Pipõ puppies, and today she's gone.

Thank you Zsófi for posting the sad news.
Pipõ died today. A walk on the beautiful empty river ice ended when out of nowhere, without barking, without growling, appeared a caucacian owcharka.
Pipõ died trying to defend her family, the ovcharka killed her on the ice in my mothers feet. The two women could not scare the attacking dog away before it had done it's deed. I was not there, she was with my mother and her friend. I heard the news after it had happened.
Pipõ is missed by many. She was very special, and brought us together with many mudi friends.

no, no Vet Ch. titles. Pipõ is "retired", but since veterans over 10 years can be entered for free, and this show is practically held in our neighbour village, she has been entered every year. Pipõ is in good condition for her age
