Both litters were born in end of January, so they start to be around 9 months... 50 cm is quite OK for agility, barely 45 cm is the worst I think

I didn't know that Furas faith would be judged this way, but so be it.
I contacted Judit eaerlier this week to ask more information of Fura. What I knew of him, is that he's pedigreed young mudi, looking for new home, not necessarily from reasons that origin from himself. Purchasing young adult would not be much different than buying a puppy, on the contrary, much more can be said of a young adult dog, it's appearance, tempperament and health. You can see if it has full dentition and correct bite, if it has both testicles, and no anomalities or greater flaws in structure. Importing a young puppy is always buying a "pig in a bag", it can turn out to be anything.
I don't know if breeders who've sold puppies to Finland have been warned as much about the unknown faith that may lay ahead the puppies. I'm happy that there has been people, who've regardless of the dangers sold puppies abroad, they are to thank for the current high quality of the Scandinavian mudis.
I've expressed my intrest towards the dog and was tempted to do so quickly as I've understood that the dog's faith would be quickly neutered. My interest was initiated by the fact that the dog was distantly related to our Pipõ, and I also have had chanse to personally meet his dam, dam's father, and sire's both parents, and also the sire's mothers father.
Neutering Fura would for sure cut the option of becoming a stud dog short, so I did contact Judit quickly to ask if it would be possible to hold that thought and not be hasty. What I was hoping to be able to do was to get few people's opinion of the dogs tempperament, and if it was promicing enough, it could've been imported to Finland, placed in experienced hands, and in 1-2 years of time be health checked, tempperament tested, taken to shows and hopefully get some other kind of results. And after all those being done see if he was become a breeding dog, or not.
I'm sure that for the dog, it won't matter if he was neutered and placed in loving pet home or kept intact and sold abroad. In my opinion the"breeding dogs" are also first and foremost family- and hobby dogs, and even those who do not become breeding dogs are valued as companions.
If it's true that the dogs tempperament is as bad as it's been said and that it's most likely because of it's genes and not the upbringing and environment, it truly is best that the dog is neutered and placed in pet home so that it won't pass on it's bad traits. That is impossible for me to judge, I haven't even seen the dog so far except in a photo, and I will need to trust the judgement of the breeder of the dog, the foster home, previous owner and the experience of the mudi resque people.

I think that probably the reason for not banning all the dogs who have epileptic parent or puppy is that the parent of a dog or the puppy of a dog only has half of the genes, the other half came from the other parent. I'm not expert in the field, and this was the suggestion of the Belgian Shepherd dog association.

I was wondering, has the MEOE Mudi Club given any official recommendations what comes to breeding dogs who are related to epileptic dogs? What is the current public opinion about it?
I asked this on the other forum too, but don't think I will get any answer 
In Finland the breed club has not published any recommendations, but there are other breed clubs that have, in breeds where there is also epilepsy. For example the belgian shepherd dog association recommends not to
-breed dogs who have epilepsy
-breed dogs who have epileptic full sibling
-repeat breeding that produced epileptic puppies
some breedclubs also recommend not to breed again dogs who have produced more than 1 epileptic puppy.
I was hoping that I would've got myself a Manó puppy next spring, but after news about Nudli's epilepsy, it will not happen. I wish that Nudlis sisters and half-sisters will stay healthy.
