There was total of 138 Medi-size dogs qualified to the Agility FCH race, and 170 Maxi-dogs.
Total of 7 mudis were qualified to the Agility FCH's, 4 medis and 3 maxis, and 5 of them made it until the finals, and from these 4 were placed to the top 15.

Paavo placed 10th in the Maxi class in Agility Finnish Championship race last weekend.
The final race can be seen for example here: http://www.royalcanin.fi/agilityn-sm-19-206-vantaa
Just choose from 1st drop down menu the class (Maxi), and from the second select "39 Paavo".
This was the highest placing ever for Maxi-mudi in Finnish Championship race.
Same weekend another mudi (Vimmatun Särmäsälli "Pantse") took bronze medal in Medi class. Also his video can be seen in the website above, he is number 42.

I don't know about the policies in other countries, but here dog has to be minimum of 10 months to enter BH-exam. Some dogs do successfully take the exam at that age and pass.
10 months is also minimum age for participating obedience trial here.

I saw that there is puppies planned for Soma in at least two kennels, that is nice.
I think it's nice if older dogs are used for breeding. To stay healthy until old age is important. When you use young dog, you can not know what will happen to it in next few years. Genes for long life span can be lost fast. For example in giant schnautzers ten years ago the average life expectancy was 12 years, now it is 8 years.

Hi, is there any news about when there will be club meeting to vote about the proposed breeding rules? I read about them in http://www.magyarmudiklub.hu/newsenglish.htm
I think it's good that the club feels like they should strongly promote the health and working abilities as well as genetic health of the breed. How do the breeders think about the rules?
Is there currently breeding committea in the MMK, and do they have information of for example the average COI of the current mudi population, or statistics of the dogs that have been used for breeding? I have several times tried to ask directly from the MEOE if there is any registration data (numbers, genders, dates of births, parents) available to do some population calculations of the breed, but I haven't even got an answer.

Does anyone know, if all the Szürkevillám H-puppies (apart from Harmat) are still alive and in good health? Pipõ is in excellent condition, and the age doesn't show yet. Except maybe with her hearing, she's not getting deaf, but she is more selective with what she _wants_ to hear
